The Packaging Council of South Africa (PACSA) has rebranded itself as PACKAGING SA.
This new name better describes the association and its role to provide industry representation and leadership on major issues impacting the industry to all interested parties and stakeholders including government, the media and its own membership.
The issues are predominantly those which affect more than one member or industry group and which require strong industry representation. PACKAGING SA actively promotes the benefits of packaging with the primary focus on environmental issues.
PACKAGING SA is a voluntary industry body. Its members are in two broad categories, Converters and Associates. The Converters represent some 70% of the revenue generated by the industry. Associates include raw material suppliers, material organisations, brand owners, retailers and other organisations and associations with interests in the packaging industry.
If your company or association has interests in the South African packaging industry, it should be a member of PACKAGING SA.
